Looking for some people to work at a bar ASAP. If you've seen Bahamut's Fury, well, you can probably figure out it's not in the best shape. It'll take some work, but if you're willing to put in the time and effort, we can arrange something.

That said, I am a level 4 killjoy. Dunno if that’ll influence your opinion in general, but obviously that means I can't really do that full-time kinda thing. I wanna do some work in my downtime though, and I'm a real hard worker.

I've got another killjoy offering to look out for the place, be a bouncer. When I need full time, I'll look for it. I just need to get it back running for now.

Alright. Seems easy enough. I’ll pop by in a bit after I take care of something and have a gander.

You got any specific hours you normally run? Assuming you’re even open for business right now, what with the poor shape you’re saying she’s in.

She's not open right now, probably in about two weeks, if everything goes well. I'd keep the old man's hours of 9 - 2, maybe change it up a bit during the week.

I might need some help getting more product first. I've been talking to suppliers and not too many are willing to make the drops so I'm going to have to go get it myself. If you want to help with that, I'm all for it.

Definitely don’t mind helping. Done enough errands for the RAC. You got coordinates for me? I can see about popping by one of their lots when I head over.

I've got a few. Take your pick. Give me some of your details and contact info so I know how best to keep in touch with you. I don't need much, just the essentials.

[And off they go, just about five coordinates that he pick from, along with contact names and his own name as reference.

And if James knows anything about the Company?

He'll probably recognize the name Nyx Ulric... probably. Hero status.]

[He’d left the Company some years ago, but he hasn’t fallen out of keeping up with things since having converted to a killjoy. The name rings a bell, and James raises his brow when he makes the connection.

He sends along his basic info, James Barnes and details to his private line, before replying more freely in a private text:]

James here. Don’t tell me you’re retiring to run a bar. It’d be a real damn shame to lose someone like you when the Company’s already so short on level-headedness.

I'm taking that as a compliment. No, I'm not leaving. Between Company missions I'll be running the Fury. I can't let it fall apart, not when the old man did so much for me.

It wouldn't be right.

[He'd heard some of James, though the details had been vague at best as to his departure. It wasn't Nyx's job to ask why anyone would leave, nor was it in his nature to pry about something that, he figured, was sensitive.

Though he'd be lying if he said he wasn't curious about it.]

Definitely a compliment, pal. When I was small, I wanted to become someone like you one day. Universe had other plans though.

[And when he thinks about it now, he doesn’t know if he’s strong enough to have stayed true with all the internal backlash and conflicts do-gooding does at times within the Company. Maybe if he’d been on a crew alongside Ulfric, knowing he wasn’t fighting alone. Yeah, that’d have been great, wouldn’t it have? But it’s another life, one James doesn’t know, and so he’s only left with the thought of possibility and the knowledge of his own shortcomings.]

For whatever it’s worth, if the Fury means that much to you, I ain’t planning on letting it die out either. There’s something good about people having hope, whatever they might be going through. And a place like yours is the perfect way to remind others that the end is never the end unless we let it be.

The universe likes to throw out a few tests sometimes. I just tend to fight back more often than not.

[Which is exactly why he has as long of a list of infractions as he does. He's too stubborn, too self-assured, to let anything try to break him down. It's all he's got left, anyway.
